While Dom is off vigorously breastroking the English Channel to make it to America in time for Know-It-Alls, Colin is joined by RHAP fixture
Lita Brillman to take a look at where everyone stacks up entering the always electric #Survivor merge. Plus, was Ali's blindside a satisfying episode or just blatantly dishonest editing? Which combination of haphazard duos might come together to form a new majority? And after a tumultuous couple of rounds, is Ryan's star beginning to fade? All that and more below,
here, or on iTunes
here.
So if you worked hard and accomplished things in your life you don't deserve to win an unrelated reality game show? Makes sense.
ReplyDeleteExactly! She doesn't prefer Dr mike winning yet she's all in for Chrissy!
DeleteWhat's "wrong" with these accomplished men ?

ReplyDeleteI'm "shocked" to hear that Lita doesn't like or enjoy watching guys like Ben, Cole, Devon, Ryan, JP Mike and Joe. SHOCKER
ReplyDelete#GirlPower #YesWeCan...
It was fun to hear Lita try to dance around the fact that, most of the time, the amount she likes someone on a reality show depends on their gender and race.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever listened to her on RHAP?
DeleteThat's all she talks about !
If you are a white straight guy on a reality show, Lita will probably dislike you.......
Yep reason number 107 that I avoid any podcast she’s on. I love the Dom and Colin podcast so I stuck it out. The best part of the podcast was the last 30 mins with Colin by himself. Wish he just did the podcast solo or got Kaz.
DeleteDidn't Shii Ann in S8, Edna Ma, Christina Cha, Becky from Cook Islands, Peih-gee Law on China make it far on their respective season's? Not just Natalie Anderson. Plus Natalie & Nadiya were South Asian which seems to me to be more underrepresented than East Asians on American entertainment. Whether reality tv, scripted tv, movies or the need media. Also Shirin, as a woman of Persian descent, is considered as a Non Hispanic White Caucasian by the US Census.
ReplyDeleteYep, Race is only relevant when we look at early boots, not the successful cases.

ReplyDeleteIt's weird that Colin agreed with Lita on almost everything she was saying about diversity, race, wealth, etc. and yet the comments have chosen to attack the woman for her opinions. Weeeird.
ReplyDeleteMostly because she is a hypocrite who judges people on their gender and skin instead of the content of their character. To imply that it was a race thing that helped Ali out the door when she fought with him is ridiculous.
DeleteThanks for using my "Edit Zone" Jingle !!!!!!!!!

ReplyDeleteA little late to the party since I generally don't prioritize podcasts that don't have both Dom and Colin, but just to drop in and say: having my e-mail read on the Dom & Colin podcast by the great Colin Stone himself just made my day/week/month/life. Of course, the down side is that Colin has now firmly planted my flag in the Devon camp for me, so... Don't let me down, blue!!
