Survivor 28: Cops and Rubes -- Episodes 4+5 Recap/Analysis

By now predictably unpredictable, Survivor: Cagayan continues to impress. With the starting tribes in the past and a merge on the horizon, there's a ton to cover this week. On Brawn Purple Solana, LJ's fate lies with a wolf and a cougar, as he entertains a marriage of convenience with Tony and marriage proposals from Trish. Did Tony make the right decision - if it even was a decision? Can he woo Sarah, or will he and LJ be watching the action from the jury bench? Meanwhile, the Brains are somehow the most cohesive group in the game and are being courted by some beautiful suitors. Who can they trust, and why is it not Alexis? And, in a season with two idols, many bold players, and the looming shadow of Tyler Perry, how many of our predictions will be comically disproven in the next few weeks? All this, and more, on this week's show, available below, here, or on iTunes here.

Survivor 28: Always Be Throwing? -- Episodes 2+3 Recap/Analysis

After an impromptu hiatus (my bad), we're back this week to break down the last two episodes of Survivor: Cagayan.  Did the Beauty tribe make the right call booting Brice over Morgan, and should they have thrown the next challenge to boot whichever of the two remained? When, if ever, will Tony's spool web of lies catch up to him? And did Kass and Tasha make the right call in letting Spencer make it to a swap? (Spoiler alert: LOLOL no). Plus, for the first time ever, we recorded the show just after Wednesday's episode finished airing, so tune in for all of the heat-of-the-moment hyperbole you could ever dream of on the player below, find the direct link here, or find us on iTunes here.

Survivor 28: Premiere Review with Ian Terry

Survivor 28: Extended Preview

With the Survivor: Cagayan premiere only hours away, we're back for a typically brief and cursory look at the players gracing our screens for the next three months, who are hopefully bold and definitely beautiful. We break down what Tyler Perry production had in mind when they installed the bevy of twists found on this season, debating what effect these might have on the game, and act as wholly unqualified judges of character for this season's cast. You can listen below, here, or on iTunes here.

Survivor 28: Cast Preview with Andy Herren

In celebration of Survivor's return to our screens we took our three favourite things (hyperbole, tardiness, and technical problems) and combined them into one glorious package. Our recording software decided to upgrade Dom into Andy Herren, who drops by to give his take on the beauties and beasts of Survivor: Cagayan. We return to our regular programming with a more in-depth look at the season's tribes and twists, which will be up shortly; meanwhile, you can listen below, here, or on iTunes here.

Reflections with Richard Hatch

Thirteen years after being crowned the first winner of Survivor, Richard Hatch stands tall as the franchise's most iconic figure and leading authority. We are honoured to be joined by him for an extensive conversation about his experiences in life and on the show, including many topics he has rarely - if at all - spoken about publicly. As the original Survivor mastermind he gives his perspective on what happened in Borneo, addressing long-held misconceptions about the first season, and waxes lyrical on Survivor as both game and cultural phenomenon. You can listen below, here, or on iTunes here.

Survivor 27: Season in Review

After 39 hard-fought days and nights, Tyson Apostol finally received the proverbial man-tiara he'd so long been dreaming of, and now that adequate time has passed to forget about how dreadfully clear the outcome was (as well as to forget the entire boot order), we're back to break down the finale, evaluate Tyson's gameplay, give our parting thoughts on the cast, and much more. Hear three hours worth of last words on Blood vs. Water by listening on the player below, find the direct link here, or find us on iTunes here.
