DeleteI think you're overestimating the variance in Tactical Yutnori. True, between two equal teams it will somewhat come down to luck, but Dongmin read the Starcraft alliance like a book the whole game and it would have looked the same way if the board was twice as big. (Yes, this reflects badly on Jinho as well).
ReplyDeleteSame with Passcode, really. With two opponents both using binary search (the optimal strategy) it's luck, but Yowhan threw away two turns and deserved to lose.
