Survivor: One World Examined with Kim Spradlin

Recently coming off one of the most impressive performances in 'Survivor' history, reigning champ Kim Spradlin joins us for an in-depth look at her One World game.  She explains her thought process on the island during her most critical decisions, evaluates those she played against, and goes into detail about some of her now-famous "options" that may have been mentioned once or twice on the CBS show.

Plus, what really happens if Colton isn't removed from the game?  What was the right answer to Troyzan's jury question?  And might we ever see Kim play again?

Advocates for options that we are, you can listen HERE or on iTunes HERE.

Survivor 24: Finale preview ft. Albert Destrade

In less than 72 hours, the winner of Survivor: One World will be crowned, and today Albert Destrade returns to the podcast to preview the finale. He gives us his thoughts on the season so far, from the dynamics on the original gender-split tribes through the fall of Colton and the merge to the rapidly approaching endgame. He contrasts this season to his own, notably assessing how Sophie compares to Kim, and makes his predictions for Sunday. This week's show, featuring all this and more, can be found here or on iTunes here.

Survivor 24: Merge preview featuring Kos

Today we are joined by Amanda Kimmel hater and RHAP alumnus Kos to look at the state of the game going into the merge. Who has the best chance of winning the game at this point? Who will emerge victorious in the inevitable Kim-Jonas power struggle? How would the potential winners of this season compare to those of past seasons? And how long will it be before Kat gets a restraining order against Colin; does she even know what a restraining order is? All this, and more, on this week's show, which you can find here and on iTunes here.

We will hopefully be recording later in the week with John Cochran, and a TAR-focused podcast should be up early next week as well. Until then, enjoy the show, and keep updated by subscribing on iTunes and/or following us on Twitter.

Survivor 24: Lodestar Wars

Pictured: schadenfreude

Due to difficulties with the recording software the show is truncated this week, so the Amazing Race and Community discussion will have to wait for future shows, but in the meantime we go into detail about this week's episode of Survivor. Drop your assertiveness into this lodestar and get ready for an hour of strategy discussion, poor jokes, and trenchant questions about the authenticity of Salani's chests. Listen here or on iTunes here.

Survivor 24 + TAR premiere review

Better late than never, we are going solo this week to talk about last week's Survivor and - for the first time - the Amazing Race, featuring podcast favourites Brenchel among others. Were breasts really the reason the women lost the challenge? Is Colton gay? What does Colin have against British accents? Some of these questions are answered in this week's episode, available here or on iTunes here.

Survivor 24: Premiere podcast ft. Gary Wise

For this episode we are joined by ESPN's Gary Wise to talk about the Survivor: One World premiere. How has the 'One World' twist worked out so far, and how do we see it affecting the game in weeks to come? Who's looking hot (or not) as winner picks right now, and whose draft has been derailed already? What does 'ambience' actually mean? All that, and more, in this week's show, available here on its own and with all previous episodes on our iTunes page here.

Survivor 24: Season preview podcast ft. Empire Man

Welcome back! Thank you for joining us for the first of hopefully many podcasts to come during the new Survivor season. For this episode we are joined by a guest (known to 2+2 forum regulars as Empire Man) to assess the cast and give our predictions for the season in a extended-length episode. You can listen to it here; and if you haven't yet, you can subscribe to us on iTunes to automatically receive future podcasts.

We plan to do a podcast every week recapping the events of the most recent episode and occasionally covering specific topics in more detail; we may do additional episodes on certain subjects from time to time. Additionally, we have some interesting guests lined up for this season, including potentially some former contestants; we'll reveal more about that as the time approaches. For now, enjoy the show and enjoy the season!
